THE SITUATION
Freedom Farmers arrived with an already-thriving agricultural community of nearly 18,000 members on BuddyBoss and LearnDash — the platform existed, but the member experience hadn't kept pace with the community's ambition. No gamification system, no custom member dashboard, and no way to give members the kind of curated, data-rich resource experience the content deserved.
WHAT WE DID
Started with UX — designing how the dashboard should feel, how gamification would work, how member flows would move through the platform. Then built the custom libraries that turned Freedom Farmers from a membership site into a full member resource: a Video Library, a Supplies Library, and a Properties Library. The team has remained the consistent technical partner across multiple internal project manager transitions on the client side.
The Properties Library is the most complex piece: a fully custom-built directory where Curtis Stone records video walkthroughs of vetted properties — pros, cons, location analysis, his personal take. Members search, filter, and explore listings via an interactive map.
